How ProfileTap handles cancellations, returns, replacements, and refunds across our physical products and digital plans.

Overview & Scope

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how Vedanta Core (Proprietorship), operating the brand ProfileTap (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles cancellations, returns, replacements, and refunds across our physical products (NFC cards, QR products, safety tags, and review hardware) and our digital products (digital profiles and subscription plans).

Because ProfileTap offers both physical goods and digital/subscription services, different rules apply to each. Please read the section relevant to your purchase. By placing an order or subscribing, you agree to this policy.

Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch

You may cancel a physical-product order any time before it is dispatched for a full refund. To cancel, email admin@vedantacore.com with your order number. Once an order has been dispatched, the return and replacement terms below apply instead. Personalized or custom-printed items already in production may not be cancellable.

Physical Products – Returns & Replacements

You may request a return or replacement within 10 days of delivery if the item is defective (the NFC chip or QR code does not function as intended), damaged in transit, or incorrect (a different item or variant than ordered).

To be eligible, the item must be in its original packaging, accompanied by proof of purchase and, where possible, an unboxing photo or short video of the issue. On approval, we will arrange a free replacement or, where a replacement is not possible, a refund. Return shipping for verified defective, damaged, or incorrect items is borne by us.

Change-of-Mind Returns

We do not accept change-of-mind returns on personalized or custom-printed products, as each is produced specifically for you. Defective, damaged, or incorrect items are always covered under the section above.

Non-Returnable / Personalized Items

The following are not eligible for change-of-mind returns (defective, damaged, or incorrect items remain covered):

  • Products customized with your name, photo, logo, or other personal details
  • Items returned without original packaging
  • Products showing signs of misuse, tampering, or physical mishandling
  • Free items or promotional gifts

Refund Process & Timeline (Physical Products)

Once a return or replacement request is approved and, where applicable, the returned item is received and inspected, an approved refund is processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. The time for the amount to reflect in your account may vary by bank or payment provider.

Subscriptions & Digital Plans – Cancellation

Our digital plans (e.g. Free, Pro, Advance, Business, Team) can be managed from your account dashboard.

  • The Free plan is free forever and requires no cancellation.
  • For paid plans, you may cancel renewal at any time from your account; cancellation stops the next billing cycle and you retain access until the end of the current paid period.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable once the plan is activated, and we do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for unused time, except where required by applicable law.

Failed, Duplicate or Erroneous Payments

If you are charged more than once for the same order, or a payment fails but an amount is debited, contact us with the transaction details. Verified duplicate or erroneous charges are reversed to the original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days of confirmation.

Cards That Include Bundled Plan Access

Some physical networking cards include a bundled period of Pro access. If such a card is returned or refunded under this policy, the bundled plan access tied to that card is voided as part of the refund. This does not affect any separate, independently purchased subscription.
